Clutch fork bushings

Hi, 66 WM300 getting a 265. I got new bushings for both ends of the clutch release fork from VPW.

I notice that when I slide the bushings onto the fork, the bushing's split opens a tiny bit, maybe 10, 20, 30 thousandths. But, The bushing with no gap is a very tight fit into the bore, will require some tapping to get it in. So, I'm concerned that the fork will not fit into the bushing since it can no longer expand.

Is this normal, and it will be OK once I get it all back together?
