I've experienced similar issues with my 1941 wc4, not dying completely but running terribly due to a bad condenser but only after the truck is warmed up and when under load If not idling but 25 miles an hour plus. The truck would sputter, cut out, like it's not getting enough fuel.It would be something to consider for sure. And yes a coil can also exhibit similar issues. If you want to verify its fuel versus electrical, is it or is it not the fuel system, set up a gravity feed fuel tank hanging up high and run the truck. Be sure to disconnect the fuel line from the gas tank at the fuel pump.
