Hi Jerry, that's a nice distributor to have on the 230. Once you get to cruising speed, the vacuum advance kicks in advancing the timing further than just the mechanical advance giving better MPG. The vacuum advance number is VC-2082-R, Auto-Lite number for distributor IGS-4203A-1. Plenty on the net, just search. Use Dodge 1942 D22, 230 engine when looking for parts for it. See image at link.
