Try this:

Remove the negative wire from the coil. Remove the center spark plug wire from the distributor cap - (leaving the other end plugged into the coil), and hold the exposed conductor about 1/4” away from a good, clean engine ground point such as a head bolt, etc

Verify you have 12v + at the positive post on the coil. Make a temporary jumper wire to attach to the negative post on the coil, and hold the loose end in your hand. Each time you touch the negative coil wire to ground, your ignition lead should jump the 1/4” gap to ground.

This simple test makes YOU the points and condenser. It bypasses the points, condenser, distributor cap and rotor as possible culprits in a no spark condition. Each time you touch your negative coil wire to ground, you are mimicking what your points do to create a spark.

If this test produces a spark, begin re-connecting everything one wire at a time, testing for spark at each step. When you lose spark, whatever you just hooked up was the culprit!!!
