Gaskets are no problem for the 251. You can use the old head gasket and expect to take it apart and replace it no matter what sealant you use. Pull the head, clean any buildup under the valve head and stem, place a wooden dowl center on the head and gently tap with a hammer. If the valve does free itself, rotate the engine to open the valve and spray the stem with carb or brake cleaner to flush oil out of the stem/guide to prevent the valve from sticking once the engine starts and runs for a short period.
