I had a new wrinkle on my Town Wagon this last weekend. Jumped in it and headed across town to a show and got about 3 miles from the house, stopped at a stop sign, turned the corner and the rear brakes refused to release. Pulled over, put it in reverse thinking they had stuck and still no release. Just the back not the front. Limped it home with the brakes dragging hard. Rears were really hot. Left it in the driveway but hit the peddle just to check and it was rock hard. Came out the next morning checked the peddle and it was normal, fired it up and brakes were as they should be. Truck is all stock with the single original style master cylinder. Still do not know what happened. Anyone ever encountered anything like this before?
