I have sold 3 cars where the buyer has not shown up to look at them. All were through Hemmings. They look at the pictures I sent, then send the money and they cannot take possession of the car until the money clears or is paid in cash. Two of the cars were 6 figure cars. I did run into a scam recently buying in that the guy wanted a large deposit without my inspection. That sale never happened.
