I was trying to remember when I discovered this site. It was somewhere in the late '90s. I do remember one of my first posts was in 2002 (I think) in response to Keith in Alberta who was disassembling his winch and found the clutch had been welded to the drum. I made a comment about "rednecks" and that "some people should not be allowed to own a torch". Fortunately everyone took my clumsy effort at humor in the right way and I wasn't banned from the forum. :) :) :)
