Mine has a high flow and I suspect a high pressure oil pump. The pumps for the Chevy small blocks are available with:
Standard flow Standard pressure
High flow Standard pressure
High flow High pressure
There may be a Standard flow High pressure but I have not seen it. The difference between the high and low pressure pumps is the spring on the pressure relief valve.
The clearances are all correct in my engine. There may be an issue with the oil pressure sender but who know.
