I don’t know what someone did to get that high oil pressure in your 327. My 327 with 330 hp sees a consistent 80 psi since the day I rebuilt it. It really doesn’t matter if it is cold or hot it is very close to 80 psi. I assume that the check valve is set for 80 psi. I run 10W30 oil which seems to be just fine. I did have a high volume oil pump put in as I knew it would run at 3000rpm at 60mph and wanted to make sure there was plenty of oil flow. I have had it close to 5000rpm and it seems run just fine. The 327 is known for being a high rpm engine.
