There are a lot of good brains here, and I would appreciate help with this. I want to replace the manual jack on my hoist with an air over hydraulic jack. I will not always have access to my compressor, so I was thinking of using a 5 gallon portable air storage tank. The jack requires 100-125 psi and minimum of 8 cfm. The jack is only used to raise the arm. The electric winch does the lifting. Do you think 5 gallons storage is adequate for operating the jack a few timees?
Thanks
