For what it’s worth, I have made my own cables for my WC53 as the positive cable is so long. They are made of large diameter welding cable either 0 or 00 I don’t remember which. On my PW and especially the WC53 I use multiple chassis (bound) cables to tie everything together. On the PW the ground goes to the engine block. But I added cables from there to the frame and frame to the body. This makes sure that everything is well grounded. These additional cables don’t need to be as large as they are not high amp circuits. They make sure that the lights and etc are getting a good ground. Normally they are grounded through the engine mounts which may not be the best. The starter which is the highest drawing circuit is grounded via the engine block. That is why the ground cable goes to the engine block and not the frame.
