Hi Clint
This link is from the Tech Specs for C3 PW 6 volt wiring diagram on Joe'a home page.
It seems to indicate a #1 wire size for both connections from the battery is best.
I have always understood that the wire size for 6 volt systems is much larger than for 12 volt.
Your 4ga and 2ga wires might be a little small?
Of course, I amm not an automotive electrician. :)
