Well, let’s see:
If a person was looking for a FFPW that already had a V8 conversion, and could do mechanical and welding work, that truck would be a good choice, most of the hard work is done, body is straight and seems in good shape, no major leaks from the various units, and has a nice custom bumper. It has lift blocks under the front springs to raise the truck for a more level look and to give it more clearance for the right exhaust pipe/propeller shaft, and a big custom gas tank. So, for a few dollars more and a little work, it could be an easy project to a nice truck. To finish it off, they might want to dump the NP425 transmission for an NP420 with PTO, WM300 cab trans floor cover and R&L floor pan to replace what is there, easy fix.

Now if a person is looking for an original owner and unmodified truck, the other on is a good choice. It is beat up a bit on the hood, the hood hinge might need replaced, and with the trash on the floor you can’t tell what the floor condition is like, could be rust through and why wouldn’t the seller want to clean it so anyone bidding could get a good look, the truck otherwise appears ok, I’d be a little cautious. You don’t know the condition of the units underneath to get an idea of what will probably require fixing since there are no images, and being a farm/ranch truck with an “A” frame you can’t see any damage to the frame, or axle housing, or springs, or anything else. The truck appears to have set for some time and is probably going to need brake work and who knows what else. One thing is for sure, most of these trucks were worked hard, abused, and put to bed worn out.

So, in my opinion both are priced within the ballpark.
