There is no doubt that the frequency of posts has diminished over the years. Whether its other social media that people find easier to manuever, or the ability to easily post pictures, or signing on to whatever the latest trend might be. There is no doubt that things are slowing down. I'm not saying that's good or bad, it just seems as the likely progression of things.
I often rationalize by saying that all the Power Wagon questions must have been answered. Yet we keep returning to see how our friends are doing, help out anyone with a question, get introduced to some new names, and pass on our knowledge to newcomers just starting out in the hobby. That is worth keeping the forum going.
The first forum took almost a year to get to 1,000 messages, so maybe we are regressing. I would like to think I will keep the Forum going as long as there is value in doing so.
Traffic wise we still get over 100,000 visits each month. That's pretty good for an old site about old trucks. Power On!
