In 2013 I was forced into a brief absence due to the first of 3 major surgeries. I was touched by a post from Tom Petroff, wondering if anyone had heard from me, noticing I hadn't posted. When I saw the interest that so many showed in my situation, I was surprised because I had never met any of them. I even had a few email exchanges with Gordon Mainey, prior to his untimely death. He was dealing with serious issues, but was very concerned about me.
It is true that this forum is especially inclined to establish closer contact and connection.
I remmember when Joe proposed the idea of changing the forum, and allowed us all to vote. The vote resulted in retaining this earlier version. I am really grateful, as it is so much easier to follow.
Nice ananlogy about the two types of forums Clint. And thanks, Joe, for keeping the forum as is. Only the CAPTCHA is annoying :) :)
