I agree. I will add that I really like the format.
I think I have told this story before. But I'll tell it again.
Many years ago the late Gordon Maney was just getting his Power-Wagon forum off the ground. He asked for my honest opinion on what I liked or disliked about the format he was using. I compared it, and Joe's Forum here, to attending a Rally. I was referring to the Vintage Power Wagon Rally but I imagine that anyone here who has been to any of the Dodge Truck rallies across the country can relate.
The VPW Rally used to have a Meet And Greet get together one evening in the banquet room at the Best Western Motel. One could walk in the room full of tables, stand quietly, and focus on individual tables and see who was sitting at them and hear the conversations taking place. Then, choose to join in where ever and when ever. Each table had different attendees and conversations going on, and each changed during the course of the evening.
I explained to Gordon that I really liked his forum but it was unlike the Meet And Greet at the rally held in one big room. That Joe's Forum was like the Meet And Greet. One could pick and choose from one big assembly of tables, groups, and conversations.
I related that I saw his forums structure more related to a meet and greet that was being held, not in a single big banquet room, but in many individual smaller motel guest rooms. One had to walk down the halls and open each door to see who was inside and what they were conversing about, and, decide where you would like to join in.
