Civilian pintle hook on left and Military pintle hook on right.

The mounting bolt pattern is the same between the two versions. The civilian version will fit a military truck, but the military version will not fit a civilian truck. Notice the difference in the location of the latch lever. The latch lever on the military version will not move far enough to release when installed on a civilian truck.
