I've run it for 10 or 15 minutes to get it firing on all cylinders and get it good and warmed up, but I guess I can try again now that I've applied a lot of penetrating oil top and bottom. Of course I can't really see that it's getting to the valve stem from the top, but I put a piece of chainsaw fuel tubing on the spray can and aimed it in that direction through the spark plug hole. I will have to check again to see if I can get the C-clamp spring compressor in there, because I sure couldn't see a way. This is #6 exhaust valve and it's an end-dump manifold. I'm not familiar with what you call a "small one" that will work on a flat-head.
