I went on autobody stores forum and gleaned some info there which was very useful. Biggest thing is to basically burst weld, don't make beads. You need to have a gap as well and don't have the metal touching before welding on the panels. Easy way to get the right gap is to run a cut off disc in that space. I'll attach a couple of my albums that may be of use to you.
