1966 W-500 for sale. This is a former police communications truck with less than 20K miles since new. I've converted it to an offroad camper, complete with insulated, wood-paneled walls and a full-sized bed. The truck features a 361 industrial V-8, 5-speed New Process, 6.80 rears, power steering, Gar Wood 12K lb winch, and a massive brake booster.
This vehicle is fully wired for a generator, has a roof-mount a/c (currently non-op) numerous custom marker lights, spotlights, off-road driving lights, and led turn/brake/tail lights.
The tires are 9.00-20 Hankook off-roads with less than 5K miles, while the body is a Boyertown, possibly one-off, with double rear doors. I'm asking $17,000, but I'm willing to work you over - excuse me, work with you - on the price. Truck is located in the high desert of southern California.
