1953 Dodge M43 Military Ambulance $10,000 [CA]
I first acquired this truck in 1977 in San Bernardino, California. Since then, I haven’t driven the truck more than 100 miles. The original plan was for it to be the unstoppable winter vehicle for our mountain hideaway. At that time, the truck had the original Dodge flat-head 6 engine and the standard military 24V ignition. Locking front hubs had been installed, but it otherwise was original. The original body had undergone a backyard paintbrush camouflage scheme that looked pretty weak; there was a lot of body rot and rust. At the time I was being relocated to New England so the truck spent about two years in the Boston area. During this time, I came across another identical truck that was complete except for the engine and transmission. The body was almost perfect, complete with the original red cross. I had about 6 months off between job assignments so the two trucks became one.

I retained the frame, suspension, axles and transfer from the original truck. I replaced the flat-head 6 with a new small block Chevy V-8 crate engine (Edelbrock manifold, Holley 4-bbl) and replaced the original 3-speed non-synchro transmission with a Borg-Warner (?) 4 speed synchro from a 5-ton dump truck. These buttoned up very nicely and, since there was a short drive shaft to the input side of the transfer case, the swap was pretty easy. This also allowed conversion to a 12V system (ever try jump-starting a 24V set-up?)

I then replaced things like shocks and brakes, lubed-up the chassis real well and then got ready to put the “new” body on. After this, I wired up the ignition temporarily and gave the truck its first test-run since the engine swap: everything functioned surprisingly well the first time.

About that time, I got transferred back to the west coast. The truck and a slew of spare parts have been in storage in the desert (Redlands, CA) ever since about 1980. I am not (and will never be) in a position to finish this truck.

Contact: For further questions or to arrange a time to see the truck, please contact Pat Anderson at 858-692-4523, or info@PowerWagonforsale.com

Extra parts included:

Transfer case
Steering gearbox, shaft and steering wheel
Front axle, complete
Headlights
Windshields
Front fenders
Front and rear bumpers
Several rims (9 total)
Brake drums (8 total)
Numerous other extra parts including gauges, switches, lights

The personnel carrier portion of the truck is double-wall insulated and is virtually original and complete including litter racks, overhead operating lamp, folding jump seat, sliding door, gasoline-fired personnel heater.
I also have the original shop manual covering the body, frame and power train, as well as numerous receipts and references for part numbers.

Needed for completion:

Engine: Headers or custom manifolds (stock exhaust manifolds are currently mounted upside done since the frame rails are too narrow for conventional placement)

Ignition/wiring: Several connections are necessary to adapt the 12V system to the old 24V fixtures. There is currently a column-mount style ignition switch from an old Chevy. I have a new generic ignition switch.

Interior: Seats are pretty worn. The transmission cover/floorboards (around the shift levers) needs to be altered to fit the new configuration of the transfer and transmission shift levers; two covers are included.

Brakes: Wheel cylinders need to be replaced or re-built; drums probably need to be turned

Frame: There is a custom-fabricated cross member under the bell-housing which has limited clearance to the front drive shaft. The cross-member should be re-fabricated or front axle vertical travel limited to avoid contact between the cross member and the front drive shaft.

Transport: It would take a fair amount of work to get this truck road-worthy under its own power. It would be easy to tow. I have a special heavy-duty towbar that was made just for this truck. I have towed it across the U.S. twice behind something like a 20-24’ Ryder or U-haul truck with no problems. The first time, the towing truck was loaded as well. It would be helpful to disconnect the Pittman arm.

Recent restoration
251 ci original engine ( 14,500 miles)
Synchro transmission (5.83s)
New timing chain & gears
Electronic ignition kit in original distributor
Rebuilt carburetor/ new fuel lines, clean gas tank
All gauges work properly
New emergency brake lining
New U-joints.
All original glass/ original vacuum wipers work
12,000 lb Tulsa winch with 1/2 inch cable works great
This truck came from Lincoln, Montana, where it was a power company service truck. It was painted with three coats of polyurethane paint; GMC red. The bed, bed rails, interior floor, running boards, and fender edges were all coated with Raptor bed lining material for a nearly indestructible finish. There is a new headliner kit, and the seat is newly upholstered. All gauges work properly. All new seals in the transfer case. New metal glove compartment, sun visors, and side view mirrors.

The truck has 5 new Grip Spur tires on original Budd wheels. The engine wiring has been completely restored. This truck is a very usable, reliable vehicle. I have kept it in a garage since owning it, and the paint is like new.

Projects still to be done include;
Needs new hood hinge; windshield rubber needs replacing, (I have it),
Wheel seals leak a little and need replacing, passenger side window regulator needs to be re-habbed.

1954 Dodge Cab-Over-Engine $1,500 [MA]
This is a 1954 C1JMA6 2-1/2 ton COE that I picked up from a friend of mine. It had already gone to the scrap yard once by accident when I got the call. The frame seems solid and the engine turns. I was told the truck runs but I haven't fired it up yet. It's been a while since I've seen a truck with so much stuff glued ,wired taped or welded to it. An old guy used it in his trailer park to plow snow and move trailers, and he kept adding things over the years.

The rear axle was swapped out, and a two speed GM axle is in it now. The dump body on the truck can go with it or stay behind. It's setting on the chassis but not bolted down. The windshield has a crack on the passenger's side. The two wrap windows in the back are good. There is no title with this truck, but it does have the data plate.

1971 D/W600 Dodge $3,200 obo [MA]
This truck was purchased from Dodge, and sent to the Shuttle Corp. to be fitted for railroad use.

The data tag says D600, but it has a Napco front axle, and NP transfer case. It runs and drives, power steering, and power brakes work. It has a compressor on the engine and the plow lift works.

There is an 8' dump body sitting on the truck that I will remove.
The frame is very solid .
6 matching 8.25 X 20 snow tires 95%. (I took the outer rear tires off to trailer it).

The sheet metal on the truck is not that good. The front fenders are cheese, but I do have serviceable replacements. The floor has been patched but could be done over better. Doors aren't bad.

It has a 318-3 engine, 41 amp alternator, 13" clutch, NP540 geometric 5 speed.
All in all, this is one nasty truck. The hood is as high as my head

1983 Dodge D350 Dually cab and chassis $2,800 [MA]
A friend of mine bought this truck at auction to get the bed. The last inspection sticker was from 1990. I asked if it ran, and my friend said he didn't have a clue. When I got it home, I threw a battery in, and poured some gas down the carb. It cranked about three times, and fired right up. I drove it off the trailer.

It has a 360 cu. in. engine with a four barrel thermoquad, and an automatic transmission. Power steering, power brakes, AC, cruise control, trailer brake unit, cab lights and running boards. The front calipers are seized but don't leak (I backed them off so I could drive it around).

The cab on this truck is amazing. Mice had gotten in the cab, so I took the carpet out to clean. The floors are the best I've seen. I mean original paint. The doors are the same way, rockers are about perfect. The front seat has one small hole. The right front fender has a little bulge over the wheel from a hit to the grille. The frame is solid. 16.5" wheels. I have a new set of 16" dually rims (6 new 1 good used) that I will throw in for an extra $300.

I don't have any paper work on the truck. My friend is working on getting some but nothing yet

1951 Dodge Power Wagon Ambulance $1,500 [WA]
One of very few ambulances made in 1951 for the US Navy and Coast Guard.
9’ Body by Gerstenslager.
Factory rear frame extensions.
Original running gear and transfer case.

Somebody installed a Olds/GM 325ci engine and Torqueflite transmission.
Engine is bad.
The body has some rust out that can be patched.
The metal framework is in good shape.

I was going to build this into a vintage camper, but for the past few years it’s just been sitting outside with straw bales, being stored in the back.
This was a stop-gap vehicle between the WWII ambulances, and the M series of ambulances for the military.

Four Dodge Power Wagons & parts $10,000 [VA]
One Black Dodge Power Wagon that has a 9ft metal flat bed. This truck is around a 1950 model. It has the engine in it, but doesn’t run. It has an winch.

One Green Dodge Power Wagon that has four new tires with new tubes and flaps. It has an engine that was running good, and I added a new water pump, radiator, and plugs. It hasn’t been cranked since the new parts were added. No bed on it presently. This truck has been put together with various parts from other trucks. Most of the parts came from two 1947 model trucks. This truck has a winch also.

Two other Green Dodge Power Wagon trucks that have engines, beds, but need a lot of work. None of these trucks have been started in a long time. These trucks are approximately late 1940's trucks too.
I also have many, many parts. I have another frame, engine, transfer case, and lots of smaller parts. My estimate would be that at least two good trucks could be made from all the parts.

I have moved multiple times, have kids, no time, and could use the money for a newer family vehicle.

Asking $10,000 for all the trucks and parts.

1959 W200 Dodge Power Wagon $5,900 [NJ]
1959 Dodge W200 (3/4 Ton) Power Giant Power Wagon
This truck has had the brake system completely replaced, including lines and cylinders, and filled with DOT 5 fluid. 4 new shocks. The old Dualmatic hubs in the photo have been replaced with Warn hubs . The truck runs well. It needs some rust repair on the cab floor, inner fenders installed, and other minor work. The truck comes with a working plow, that is hydraulic controlled up and down, with manual angle. The tow winch in the back is a 3 ton Manley that works off a dc motor and a hand crank. It looks like it would still lift vehicles with a little work. The truck has a 230 cu. in. 6 cylinder engine,4 speed manual transmission ,4.8 rear. Glass is all good, except for the drivers door, which has a crack. A good replacement door window is also included . I also have the original inside headliner, it is dirty and being a cardboard like material it is better suited for patterns. The truck has a quick cover paint and should have a proper paint job. I do have the fender emblems, but one is missing a letter on the word wagon.

1960 D300 Power Giant
The D300 is included, as it is basically a parts truck. With the exception of the axles and transfer case, most parts will interchange with the 59 W200. However, with work it could be put back on the road. The engine is a 318 cu. in. It runs, but needs a rebuild. Transmission is a 420 with a PTO that operates the large tow winch in the rear. The truck has no seats there is a seat base that may be from a flat fendered Power Wagon. The back is from 48 Pilothouse.
The trucks come with spare parts including 4 new 17.5 tires (not sure of actual age, I did not purchase them), good PW (large lip) front fender, 2 side windows, 1 rear window, left and right door parts, extra grill. Also have the old front fenders that were removed if you want them. Many photos of trucks and parts can be viewed at http://oldmopar.com/Sale/Photos.html

1952 Dodge Power Wagon $10,500 [CO]
1952 Dodge Power Wagon. All complete with original winch.

I started to rebuild this truck but never seemed to find enough time. I rebuilt the winch, tuned the engine up, installed new brake cylinders, and master cylinder, and a new clutch. I also have service records from 1962 to 1982.

Runs and drives great.

1947 Dodge WDX Power Wagon $16,500 [CO]
1947 Dodge WDX Power Wagon. Ser. # 83902780.

Truck is from the Colorado Rockies. Has spent its life at 7000 to 8000 ft. Runs unbelievable well, and will have title.

One owner vehicle. Body panels are unreal. Mostly surface rust. Box and tailgate are best unrestored I have ever seen. It is very original except the T 137 was replaced by a 230 Plymouth engine in 1954, and windshield wiper motors have been converted to electric "something".

Braden MU2 winch is installed. Has a complete rear pulley assembly but no King/Seeley governor, (Boo) and Is being sold with a table belt radial saw of the era. Both winch and pulley work.

Truck came with rear shocks, over flow tank, inside rear view mirror, outside extended left and right mirrors. Tires look to be original. Sun visors are missing, horn and gas cap are not original, head liner is poor, seat needs repair, glass with the exception of drivers side is not broken. Parking brake works well, but no wheel brakes. Must be a PW, right!

Tools that come with PW are Wheel Bearing Socket, Spark Plug Socket, Bud Lug Wrench and Hand Crank for engine with proper winch bracket. Ignition key works in door lock and key is original. Seller has some of the maintenance records. New battery and headlights have been installed. I have 25 plus pics of the truck that I can email.

Truck is in my yard here in Denver.
Price $16,500

1947 WDX & 194? Dodge Power Wagons $5,500 [CA]
The trucks are a 47 WDX and a 48 or 49 B-1-PW-126.

Yellow 1947 WDX- The serial numbers are very light and were posted on the passenger side door pillar from the factory. The numbers I can figure out are 750505 which if interpreted as the last 6 numbers of the serial make this a Los Angeles built truck. The truck has factory rear shocks and overloads, completely new brake system including brake lines, shoes, master cylinder, and wheel cylinders. The truck also has new axle seals. The truck is a daily driver has a clear California title and is currently on non-op with the DMV.

White 1948 or 1949 B-1-PW-126- The readable serial numbers are 887640 so I would assume this is a San Leandro built truck. This truck has a rusted out cab but the hood, cab roof, and radiator cowling are in good shape. The doors have small rust through at the bottom but are salvageable. The drive train on this truck id complete, original, and unmolested. The winch on this truck appears to be from an M-37. Included with this truck as extra parts are a transfer case, a synchro transmission, four 11:00X16 Michelins with 50% tread plus misc additional parts. This truck will be sold with a bill of sale only.

Asking price of $5,500 for both trucks...to be sold as a pair.

Both trucks are located in Templeton, California zip code 93465

1946 WDX Dodge Power Wagon $5,600 [CO]
1946 Dodge Power Wagon WDX with the deluxe cab. Very good, complete, rust free condition. Engine runs well with great oil pressure. Odometer reads 34,429 and believed to be the original miles.

Body is very good - very straight, no cancer, just surface rust. Fenders are straight and rust free. Driver's side fender just need minor work to be perfect. Roof of cab is good, needs minor straightening and a couple holes from previous light filled.

Frame is straight and solid with only superficial surface rust.

Factory Braden PTO winch. Nice utility bed with a working early, manual, hand crank type "Tommy Lift" and detachable hoist/crane. Pretty cool!

Interior is complete, including factory bench seat, heater, electric wipers. Gauges are all readable.

The truck is an excellent candidate for a complete restoration or for getting it back on the road as a true survivor.

A 6v/120v generator system was installed back in the day to allow the owner to run power tools along his fence line. The original wiring will need attention due to age. Will also need the brakes looked at (probably fluid and bled).

Truck is located in Conifer, CO.

1970 W200 Dodge Power Wagon $29,000 [CA]

<a href="http://www.dodgepowerwagon.com/classifieds/rivers-051411-70w200.php"><img src="http://photos.imageevent.com/powerwagon/classifieds/icons/rivers-051411-70w200.jpg" width="113" height="84" /></a><br />
1970 W200 Dodge Power Wagon $29,000 [CA]
1970 Dodge W200 restored about 7 years ago and has been driven about 7000 miles since. It was a big block automatic when I got it, but was a junkyard car engine. It now has a J code 440 with automatic that was built for severe duty.. Built to HP+ spec, form top to bottom all the best available parts and pieces went into the engine before it was balanced on state of the art equipment New crank ,forged pistons, Lunati cam, ported and polished heads w/ biggest valves installed. HD radiator with temp controlled auxiliary cooling fans do a good job. A 750 Barry Grant demon carb on a Eldelbrock torqer manifold, Mopar premium ignition, Hedman headers, Performax exhaust, 10 qt Milodon oil pan.

No shortage of horsepower. Very good street manners, and is pleasant to drive. It connects to a 4 pinion HD built up 727 via a Art Carr torque converter built specifically for the application. The NP 205 2 spd gear drive transfercase is fully rebuilt as well as the later Dana 60 rear diff (w/ limited slip) and the front Dana 44 (w/ ARB air locker) CV joint rear drive line smooths out normal driving. The front diff is a later open knuckle 44 with dual piston disc brakes, both diffs fully rebuilt (4.10)with KYB shocks all around.

New Warn premium lock out hubs. Power steering, and power disc brakes. New glove box insert. The rear suspension has a Kelderman air ride suspension that is adjustable by pressure or auto level, ride is very nice. Does not beat you, and long distance is a pleasure. It has a 51 gallon fuel tank tool box combo in the back bed. The behind the seat tank is gone and replaced with a out of site rifle case holder(included) .

The interior was done in a NOS Ford grey and black material (seat cover on, never sat on) that goes well with the red truck. Headliner done in a German wool black carpet. Wheels and tires are stock 8 lug steel rims (Ford I think) with Dunlop radial rover tires. Most of the chrome body script was removed and filled in during the body work process. Custom front and rear bumpers are stout and a 8k Warn winch is on the front. It can be controlled by the warn plug in or dash mounted control. Headlights and driving lights are Hella and there is a switch to have red/ white or no interior light.

Upwards of $40k and countless hours were invested in this vehicle to get it to where it is. This truck runs excellent in every way and is well sorted. Was built for horse trailer towing in mind. This is a premium vehicle, not stock but the some of the best years of Mopar make this truck very special.

No disappointments. For more information call Rich Rivers at 707.496.7131 or email to forivers@gmail.com

1951 B-3-PW Dodge Power Wagon $27,000 [WI]

Original Colorado truck with less than 5000 original miles.

Older partial restoration, I just finished my 5 year restoration project on a 1954 and was trying to get everything completely original. I bought this truck to guide me as the 2nd owner said it was bone stock. I have taken it to Fairfield once and driven it a few times a year and it always starts right up.

Original T-137 engine, flawless bedsides, fenders and tailgate. I believe the 2nd owner added the second series bed as the frame was welded on in the very rear end. The original owner was a power company that used the truck to set poles where no other truck would go so it may have had an A-frame on it at one time. Last year I used the winch to pull honeysuckle out of my woods.

There is a tear in the original seat bottom and the bedwood could use a new coat of varnish. Imron paint, overload springs in rear. I added new front end seals a couple of years ago, brackets for the rear valance that were missing, new coil and rear main seal. It has been stored in a heated building since I have had it and it never has been driven in the winter or spring and subjected to salt.

1965 W300 Dodge Power Wagon Crew Cab $1,200 OBO [ID]

This is a definite 'project truck' but would make a nice 'family truckster'!!

Has 318 V8, NP-435 4 speed, NP-205 T-case, Body is quite rusty. Floors and rockers are poor, drivers door is shot. It does have original seats though!! <br />
4.88 gearing in the Dana 70 front & rear.
I need to move out some trucks. Here's your chance to get some decent running gear or even make it a driver!!
I have a CA. title for it, for $100 extra I can get an Idaho Title in my name for it.

Additional photos at: http://www.imageevent.com/jeickhof/temporary Truck is located in S. Central Idaho along I-84

1964 Dodge Town Wagon $7,750 [CA]

1964 Dodge Town Wagon $7,750 [CA]

This is my 1964 Townie that I bought a few years ago in Northern California. It has very low mileage and ran so-so when I bought it. Since then I have gone through the entire drive train and made sure that everything works the way it was designed to. The radiator has been rebuilt and re-soldered; I installed a brand new water pump along with all rubber connectors. Installed a new thermostat, rebuilt the carb, and serviced the oil bath air filter, put in new points, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor. I installed new rubber seals under the spark plug cups (they were original & leaked). The motor had a miss in it and I found 2 cylinders did not have proper compression. The problem was the cylinder head which I had professionally gone through for over $525.00. The rough running disappeared.

The hydraulic clutch and 4 speed transmission worked properly, I simply changed the hydraulic fluid. The left rear hub was broken and I found a few guys on the internet who have a lot of used parts for Townie's, the hub was replaced. I found 4 new drums as well and installed them. The brake shoes, wheel cylinders and all brake lines (including the stainless ones in the engine compartment) have been replaced. I had the original wheels sandblasted and powder coated gloss white with dark green pinstripes before installing brand new tires. All 4 hubcaps are original and I had the red pinstripes redone to match original. All dash lights have been replaced and work properly. The rheostat for the dash lights is new and works to dim the lights. The glass is all there and the 2 front window regulators work properly as do the wing windows.

The body is original and has been on the west coast its entire life. NO SALT! Minimal rust in a couple of small areas on the body (see pics), nothing on the frame. This is an easy fix, especially as most Townies get rust at the roof line or above the rear fenders but this unit is clean and has none of that. The 3 original seats are installed as when they left the factory, the back 2 rows have the original factory upholstery on them. The dash has never been cut. The truck can be driven, I forgot to mention that I just purchased and installed a brand new drag link and pulled the steering shaft out, cleaned it and greased it before re-installation. The truck steers like it should. There is no power assist, but as soon as you are rolling, it's no problem. The truck tracks down the road straight. It has all the gauges and they work and there are all new lamps behind every gauge. The dimmer works as well with the new light rheostat I installed. The spare wheel was painted to match the other 4 rims, even the pin striping. The spare tire is fine for a spare, it will get you home. No radio was ever in this truck. The entire dash is unmolested with a nice coat for gloss forest green paint on it from the factory. The heater works properly and it has a front cowl vent that really lets the air in when the day is hot. The wipers work properly and I installed brand new rubber only 4 weeks ago.

Not very many 2wd, slant 6, 4-speed Townies were manufactured.
This is an excellent candidate for a restoration.

1970 Dodge D500 on a 1966 frame $2,000 obo [NH]

Runs and yard drives well. Clutch has been replaced. Truck shifts perfect. Brakes work well.

Truck is 1966 frame and 1970 D-500 body. V8 318 with after market aluminum intake and Carter carburetor. Bigger cam installed.

Fairly new dual exhaust. Newer radiator. Brand new alternator. Custom made rear bed.

The truck was on road in 2009. Truck frame was cleaned and painted many years ago - absolutely no rust on frame. Transmission and transfer case has been gone through when truck was on the road. New rear coil over shocks. Also, front shocks have been replaced. Firewall on truck is perfect - no rust. Very minor rip in front seat. Nice dash - not all cut up. Nice custom tube bumpers. Also has draw-tight hitch on back.

Truck does not need much work to be put on road. Just changed oil and put new fuel filter in (gas gauge broken). Worst part of truck - driver's front fender has rot and passenger rocker has a little rot. Cab corners are perfect. Floors are nice. 3 out of 4 body mounts are perfect - 1 shows a little bit of rust. All glass is good. Doors open and shut good. Truck has minor charging problem (possibly loose wire to alternator). Truck has 38" mudder tires. All hold air but have dry rot. Good aluminum rims.

1972 W200 Dodge Power Wagon $4,400 [CO]

1972 Dodge Power Wagon W200, 4WD , 318 Engine, 4 speed manual transmission, One Owner.

I started restoring this vehicle in 2002, but I am no longer able to complete the restoration.

Work that I have completed:

    * Installed a rebuilt engine - Engine has less than 1,000 miles on it
    * Complete new brake system, which includes rebuilt master cylinder and wheel cylinders (4), new shoes,
new springs and hydraulic hoses. The drums were replaced with new drums in the late 1990's and
      have never been turned
    * Rear differential has new gears, bearings and seals
    * Front and rear drive shafts have been balanced including new u-joints, slip stubs and yokes.
    * Transmission has new syncromesh's, bearings and seals
    * New clutch, pressure plate and throw-out bearing.
    * New windshield.

Needs body work. Frame is true and straight

I also have a 1978 Dodge Ram that I have been using as an "Organ Donor" vehicle.
The 1972 Power Wagon has a good hood and doors.
The 1978 Ram has better fenders and bed than the '72, and still has many good used parts.

Clean titles on both vehicles.
I want to sell both vehicles as one package.

Vehicles are located in Estes Park CO (Near Boulder, CO).
Price: $4,400
