This truck was built with severe four wheeling in mind, but yet be able to drive comfortably on the street. Here's what's in it. The engine is a 440, that was blueprinted and balanced. MSD ignition, dual batteries, high output alternator, the fuel is propane, with a 65 gallon tank in the bed. The truck does not stall when on steep angles the propane acts like fuel injection. The transmission is a 727 3-speed auto, heavy duty drive shafts and u-joints. The axles are Dana 60's, both are filled with 4.88 gears and Detroit lockers. The front axle is Chevy , with disc brakes. The steering is a high steer cross over with Ott steering arms. Tires are 38 inch Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ, which run about $400 a piece. Wheels MTT classics. The cage and bumpers are 120 dom tube. The winch is a Mile Marker 12,000lb. It has new carpet, good glass etc. This truck can be converted back to gas by the new owner if so desired. The original gas tank is still behind the seat. I have too many projects and too little time for them all so I am selling off my Vintage Dodge Power Wagons. 1st: Is a 1952 Dodge Civilian Power Wagon rust free body---including pickup box and tailgate---with no engine or transmission. Asking $6,000 or best offer. This truck also come with the correct MU-2 winch and bumper in the front. Pickup bed and tailgate were brought over from Vietnam and are in amazing condition---including the rear fenders. The truck has a clear MT title. 2nd: Is a 1954 Dodge Civilian Power Wagon rust free body with flatbed running and driving---just been sitting a lot so has some oil seepage on seals and the fuel tank could be cleaned. Asking $4,200 or Best Offer. This truck has larger wheels and rims than standard but also comes with a set of split rims correct for the truck. Previous owner had started restoration on the truck and it is currently in primer. Truck still has original engine and drive train that are all in working order. The truck still is 6 volt. Additional Photos of the trucks can be seen at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/23167882@N07/sets/ If someone where interested in buying all both trucks from me I would make a package deal. Trucks are located in Bend, OR. Please feel free to email me with questions (soncken@gmail.com) or call me at (541) 550-6300 Thanks Scott |

I had a WC that the body was too modified to restore, so I decided to make a 6x6 Power Wagon out of it. It has a 1948 Power Wagon cab and front clip. The cab is very nice the only rust through is passenger side rear were a mouse nest was and drivers floor board. It has the original air seat all original gauges and has not been altered. The windshield frame is nice and the regulator works. The passenger door is original and nice the driver's door I put on and has some rust at the bottom but works good. I have the original drivers door but is kinda beat up it will be included if wanted. Front fenders hood and nose cone are very nice. It has a Plymouth engine that runs great. New plugs, wires, fuel pump, etc. No leaks on radiator, or engine - not even oil. Original 4 speed trans original transfercase etc. I put new wheel cylinders in the front and a kit in the master cylinder the rear is not hooked up but it stops pretty good just driving it at my place. I have 4 first series bedsides that I will include if you want to make a custom longbox or I have a nice all steel flatbed for it. I have a fuel tank to go with the truck but it will need to be cleaned out. Currently running on small temporary tank. I have a pw front axel and upper shock mounts to go with the sale also so you can put real shocks on if you want. I can email more pics if needed. I can help with loading this truck on a shipper and it can stay here as long as needed as long as its paid for. I'm sure I have some more small parts laying around to go with it also. Truck is located in New Prague Minnesota about 40 milrs Southwest of the twin cities. I have a clear title in my name and its registered as a collecter vehicle. $4,400 or best offer Home 952-758-9177 Cell 612-619-7858 email ragservices@bevcomm.net |

| 1964 W-500 Dodge Power Wagon $12,500 [GA] | March 4th, 2009 |
|
This W-500 Dodge 4 X 4 Power Wagon Fire Truck is the Biggest most Powerful and Toughest Power Wagon ever made by Dodge. It is considered a 2 Ton Vehicle as the smaller W-400 was a 1 1/2 Ton and the W-300 a 1 Ton. The Fire apparatus has been sold previously It was ordered new by the Montana Forest Service and used during the summers for Forest Fire duty. Most of the mileage was put on going from one site to another in vast Montana. Luckily, it has a 5 speed transmission powered by a Wide Block 318 V-8 engine and will cruise at Highway speeds, no problem. It is a RUST FREE. Very Well Maintained truck that has been Firehouse Kept Inside, most of its life. A Volunteer Fire Co. had it after the Forest Service. Recently removed from service in September 2006, It runs, steers, shifts, and stops great. Everything works and there are many optional features such as: PTO, Front Locking Hubs, Tachometer, Aux. Electric Fuel Pump (for faster starting, it still has the Mechanical Fuel pump), Vernier Hand throttle (like aircraft) to set engine speed for PTO or idle speed, MICO Brake Lock for use on steep hills with engine running, Light Bar, Side Spot Lights,. The tires and Battery are like new, the body is very straight, glass is very good - no cracks, new carburetor with manual choke, brakes have been checked and are excellent, recently lubed. The truck can be put into service immediately. The PTO was previously used to power a pump, however, after the forest service sold it to the volunteer company, they needed Pump & Roll capability, removed the old PTO Pump and installed Self powered pumps. At this time, this truck would be ideal for use as a 4 X 4 Dump Truck, Snow Plow or a Stake body truck or even as an off road tanker unit. The axle location is suitable for a Dump Truck Body, being close to the rear of the chassis, & having a shorter wheel base. It would pull any back hoe trailer- loaded - in mud or snow better than any other truck made today costing $40,000 or more!!! The rear axle, made by Timkin, is rated at 17,500 Lbs. Data Plate info : Rear Axle- 17,000lbs (I went from memory before) 6.8 Timken H141 Front Axle- 7,500 lbs 5 SPD Syn. N. Proc. 540 165 HP @ 3900 rpm 2800 Ft Spr 8000 R Spr 20,000 GVW You can't over load it. If you ever wanted a Big Old Power Wagon that will out pull & out climb anything...Here it is waiting for you!!! This vehicle needs to be picked up from current location in North Atlanta. DISCLAIMER: This vehicle as described has been done so to the best of my ability. Please remember it is a 1964 truck, and is sold as is and is for sale elsewhere and may be removed at owners discretion. "Non refundable" Deposit of $500 is due within 48 hours of close of auction. Will accept cash, cashiers cheque or money order for deposit and same for full purchase price. Truck is in Atlanta, GA tex@saraguay.com |

| 1951 B-3 Dodge Power Wagon $15,000 [GA] | March 4th, 2009 |
|
Almost a daily driver. This is a 1951 B-3 that I purchased several years ago. It is all original, except for new rims and tires as seen in the picture. It has a new carburetor, distributor, and wires and quite literally fires right up. It has a generator but included in the sale is an alternator I have not installed. Also comes with a 5th rim but no tire. The seat needs to be recovered, and the bed has a plate of ship steel which works great. The speedometer and gauges do not work, and I have not the time to fiddle, since I have another I am working on and will become a daily driver. The mileage shows in the 55,000 range, but the truck is tight and runs great. I use it every weekend for the trips to Home Depot and beyond. As many of you have read, I am restoring my fathers old W 300, and I cannot drive two at once so I am thinning the ranks. I have this truck listed for sale elsewhere and will remove it at my option. DISCLAIMER: This is a 1951 truck and is sold accordingly and as is. Please come inspect if you have questions or concerns. The sale is final and the refund is not refundable. I will happily answer any questions you may have. tex@saraguay.com |

| 1951 Dodge M37 $15,000 [CT] | February 24th, 2009 |
|
This 1951 M37 was one of two trucks released by the US government to the Town of Glastonbury Connecticut for use as brush trucks in their volunteer fire department. It was de-milled by the Public Works garage and lovingly made into a brush truck complete with stainless steel water tank (they spared no expense with tax payer dollars). In typical volunteer zeal, they overloaded the truck weight-wise and the DMV eventually condemned them as unsafe when compared to the stock M37 braking capacity. The vehicles enjoyed low mileage lives, both in their military and FD lives. I bought this truck in a town auction. Its sister went to the Town of Marlborough Connecticut and is still in use I believe. (The town replaced these M37’s with overloaded F-350 utility body trucks that are referred to as “parade trucks” by the members of the FD- not suitable for going off road like these beasts.) I re-milled the truck and bought a spare parts truck (1952 M37 arctic truck-complete with heater) from the town of Marlborough that was a former East Longmeadow Massachusetts rescue vehicle. That parts truck could easily be a runner. I swapped some great aggressive tires off that truck to my 1951. The town public works shop gave me a NOS radiator still in wood box and I was very active for years in acquiring NOS parts, even getting a bumper that I never used, when those parts were plentiful in the 90’s. I have several extra wheels and tires in addition to the ones on the parts truck. I have not driven the truck in years and the dual 12 volt batteries are dead. I have always garaged the 1951 and it is very nice. We repainted it with the right paint. It has not been “marked” with the Mil markings as I couldn’t bear to mess up the nice paint job. I have too many vehicles both personally and at our family farm and it is time to free up this space in my barn so my wife’s 1968 one owner Mustang can join her 2005 GT in the barn (toy box!!) at our house. I have all the town’s paperwork plus manuals and years of Power Wagon Advertisers and military vehicle magazines that I will throw in to the bargain. I will only sell the 2 trucks and parts as a package as they would be no good to me or you if separated. The vehicle will run- I guarantee it -but will need fresh batteries and gas, etc. Feel free to come and test it if you don’t believe me. Many people know this truck – including Joe Cimoch- as we used to sponsor PW rally’s at our farm until the farm just got too busy and my kids got older and I became a full time sports event driver. The price is a reasonable $15,000 cash for all as is, or of course best offer. I am very quick at responding to emails at george.m.purtill@snet.net and you can always try my cell 860-918-5442. |
